What’s Next for Henry Cort School?
Reform would, in an ideal world, like to see Henry Cort School remain open in Fareham, but we also promised residents honesty and transparency.

The reality is that the decision to relocate the school was made in April 2025 by the Conservatives at County Level, before Reform had any influence. We will not mislead residents by pretending that the decision can simply be delayed or overturned.
Our focus now must be on ensuring the Henry Cort site is put to the best possible use for Fareham residents, while minimizing the impact of the closure on other local schools, including Cams Hill. We must plan properly for additional pupils, increasing traffic and the pressure this could place on surrounding communities.
