Wallington Village Tour
Reform UK Hampshire County Councillors were delighted to be invited by the Wallington Community Association to take part in their annual village tour.

The event is an excellent example of community engagement in action, bringing together local councillors, police, environmental officers and community representatives to listen directly to residents’ concerns and identify where action is needed, including:
Road maintenance issues
Fencing and vegetation on council-owned land
Flooding risks associated with the River Wallington
Ongoing environmental and community concerns
Following the visit, Richard and Paul have followed up on the relevant issues requiring action from Hampshire County Council and have committed to continuing to support the community as needs arise. For our Fareham and Waterlooville branch, community engagement isn’t simply about talking to residents, it’s about listening, working alongside local organisations and following issues through.
