Sarah Horton
Although I was born and raised in Portsmouth, I have called Porchester my home for the past 13 years. This area is more than just where I live - it's where I've built my life and seen our community at its best and also witnessed its challenges.
For the past 26 years I have worked in the NHS. I have witnessed first-hand how national decisions have let standards slip and resources dwindle. That same frustration and concerns about patient care drives me now. Councils must do much better with the money we all pay in council tax including protecting our elderly and our vulnerable.
I'm standing because I want real change - cutting wasteful spending, ending unnecessary bureaucracy, and making sure every pound counts to deliver better local services, safer streets and improved facilities.
I'm not a career politician, but I am a dedicated public servant. It would be an honour to serve you and earn your trust. I love my country and I love my community. We all deserve better.
