Sandy Ellis
I was born in Portsea and grew up in Leigh Park, where I experienced first-hand the strength of community spirit and the importance of looking out for one another. I moved to Fareham in 1987 and consider it home.
Throughout my working life, I have been dedicated to caring for others, spending many years in both the private care sector and the NHS before retiring. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges facing our health and care services, as well as the importance of compassion, reliability, and community support.
I have also worked as company secretary for my husband’s small business, where I saw the realities of running a business in today’s challenging economic climate. This has given me a strong appreciation for the pressures faced by local businesses and the vital role they play in our community.
As a mother of three and grandmother of seven, I care deeply about the future of our community. I am passionate about improving wellbeing, safety, education, and opportunities for the next generation.
I am proud to be standing as a Reform UK candidate for the Fareham Town ward. My priorities are to address crime, help residents feel safer in their neighbourhoods, and ensure the delivery of better, more reliable local services for everyone.
