Despite strong local support, Portchester’s previous application for a Banking Hub was turned down.

Suella Braverman MP together with Paul Kimber, local campaigner, are renewing the campaign and calling upon more residents to demonstrate the strength of local demand.

With bank branches disappearing, older residents, vulnerable customers and small businesses have been left without convenient face-to-face banking. A Banking Hub in Portchester High Street would provide essential cash services and access to representatives from participating banks.

The more people who support the campaign, the stronger the case for LINK and Cash Access UK to reconsider their decision.
