Paul Woolley

I've lived in this part of Hampshire all my life. This is home, it’s where my family lives and it’s where I have worked.

I'm not a career politician but I am standing because I care - about our communities, our rural areas and our identity. I'm standing because local and county councillors need to think more about their collective responsibility to residents and less about repeating the mistakes of the past.

After 25 years serving as a bomb disposal diver in the Royal Navy, I moved into project management on high-risk defence work. My role has always been clear: control costs, deliver properly, and take responsibility. That same discipline is missing from too many council decisions. Residents are paying more but seeing less and this needs to change. This isn't about cutting for the sake of it, it's about spending properly so residents get the standard of service they expect and deserve.

Family, community, and country come first. Decisions taken today will impact generations to come so I want to help build a better future for Fareham and Hampshire.
