Nicky Watkins

I have lived in this part of Hampshire for 12 of the last 20 years and the last four years in Fareham. Having watched the main political parties over the last decade and our country diminish in culture, prosperity, security, and respect, I felt I could no longer stand on the sidelines.

I know what it is like to work and raise a family whilst studying for additional qualifications to build security and a better quality of life, but it was worth it. I am now retired but have considerable experience in business management and the legal profession; I have also run my own business and experienced the challenges that brings.

If elected, my objective will be to improve our local community by:

• Ensuring that our council delivers efficient services for our community

• Energising our local economy and job opportunities

• Making our local area a safe and pleasant place to live and work

• Preserving the character of our local community

I am standing because I care and want to give back to my community. I care about our children, our parents, our grandparents and what the future looks like for them. I want it to be better and I hope that you will give me the opportunity to represent you.
